Bing Places for Dentists
Bing Places for business functions in a similar fashion to Google My Business.
You claim your listing and add photos, hours of operation services, phone numbers and other information specific to your dental practice.
Unlike Google My Business, Bing has no internal reviews.
So there is no way for you to respond directly to reviews in Bing Places since they pull their reviews from other sources.
The sources bing pulls reviews from can vary, but Yelp is frequently listed as a review source for dental office reviews.

Bing Places Signup Process
Right here, we have the signup page for Bing Places.
For this example, I’m using an eco travel company as opposed to a dentist, but your signup process will work in similar fashion.
First, you go to bingplaces.com. You’ll want to first verify that they don’t already have your business listed. If your business doesn’t appear, go ahead and start the signup process.
Once you start the signup process, you’ll be taken to the first page where you enter basic info. Here, we’re entering the business name, website, and address.
You’ll go ahead and click on the Category tab which is the next tab in the sequence. Here, you’ll check on the box that says “I’m a healthcare professional or doctor”.
You’ll then enter your category – which will be the closest match to the type of dental services that you provide. You can choose from a variety of options including:
- Dental Implants Periodontist
- Oral Surgeon
- Pediactric Dentist
- Root Canal Endodontists
On the next page, you’ll enter your contact details – you’ll add your phone number, email and andy social media accounts that you may have.
Working hours are on the next, page, here you’ll enter the hours that your office is open.
Then Bing asks you to add photos of your business. Bing recommends adding 10 photos to make your listing as complete as possible. This is a good opportunity to give your listing some character by adding good internal photos of your office, photos of staff members, and at least one outside photo so patients will be able to easily identify your office when coming in for an appointment
After this final step of adding photos, you will go ahead and submit your listing
Once your listing information has been properly entered, you’ll have to verify your listing. Go ahead and click the “verify” button. On the next screen, you can see that there are multiple ways for you to verify your listing. The easiset are by phone and by email. For this example we chose the email option. You receive a notification to check your email – you’ll go ahead and click ok. You’re then sent back to the verification screen to enter the verification PIN.
Check your email, enter the PIN, and your listing will be verified.
You can then view your listing by searching for your dental practice on Bing. Note that it may take a while for your full listing to become visible. As you can see here, Bing has our listing as part of the search results.
